The latest Afro Pop musicians to join the likes of Eazzy, Itz Tiffany, Fuse ODG and Ruff and Smooth are Joshua Klanam Lawson and Frederick Quarshie who go by the name KnF.

The young dudes are out with their debut single Lele, a Yoruba word which means ‘problem’. The song talks about the struggles and problems that we face in life and KnF shared their life story on the song.

As both share their individual problems on the song, Joshua Klanam Lawson comes out clear that he nearly gave up his dream at the time nothing seems to work for him.

He said that with perseverance and words of encouragement from his mother and few friends he overcame his fears.

Frederick also comes in to sing about the frustrations he went through trying to make it in life. He goes on to say even though all his problems have not been solved, he can smile because more than half of them are gone.

The chorus of Lele goes like

“Ei no be crime er

 For dis life er

Say u go follow ya heart er

U for dey do am da right way

 Singing oh… ah… oh.. ah

Although it sounds Nigerian because of the beat and arrangement, KnF did well on the song as if they have been singing for a long time.

What did the magic was probably Klanam’s soothing voice and the beat from Jo in Benin who receorded the song last month.

Speaking to Showbiz in an interview last Friday, KnF who are currently promoting their song on radio and TV, said their favourite artistes in Ghana are Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Daddy Lumba  and Kojo Antwi.

Their album which features some of the heavy weights in Ghana is almost ready for release and KnF, managed by Dr Cann of Happy FM tell Ghanaians to watch out for it.
