Most  of the interest is being shown in the winner, Koo Ntakara and the first runner-up, Cano Z.

Ivan Quashigah, whose Farmhouse company produced the Hit-Maker programme for  MTN,  told Showbiz  some proposals have come in from producers and managers stating their plans to groom the young performers into formidable international acts.

“We have kept the door open for a few more offers before we finally decide who would be the best to manage the young men,”  Quashigah said.

“The intention is to secure the competent management outfits that can ensure that artistes successfully record  and launch their debut albums, do good videos for them and create the appropriate public image for them.”

The first  MTN Hit-Maker contest threw up Naterial and Miriam Afari who have both released their maiden albums and perform regularly at shows across the country.

The Farmhouse CEO stated that everyone who had a stake in the second Hit-Maker contest were satisfied with the overall staging of the show.

Meanwhile, Koo Ntakara and Cano Z have both received 20 per cent each of their prizes. Their prizes  are GHC100,000 and GHC50,000 respectively.
