The Lonely rapper who started off with the likes of Sarkodie, Bradez as well as Ruff N Smooth is currently promoting his Pressure single with its accompanying video released last Wednesday and directed by Eddie Kay Mensah.

According to Pharuk Jbreal which stands for, “Farouk just being real”, the change of name was to affirm his new found inspiration that, “in life we all have abilities that God has blessed us with and mine is music”, he said.

“I am passionate about music and in life, once you discover your passion, you have found the biggest ingredient to success”, he said.

In an interview with Showbiz last Tuesday, Pharuk Jbreal real name Farouk Khailann said, Pressure is a song that reflects on the feeling of individuals in the country since there is so much expected from every one.

Pharuk talks about how there is so much pressure in the country at the moment but then entreats everyone to look up to God and not to lose hope.

The video was shot at Santa Maria in Accra where Pharuk can be seen dressed like a mechanic in an engineering shop.

In the video shot at Santa Maria, a pastor is seen praying for different groups of people-trotro drivers, taxi drivers, street hawkers among others who are going about their daily activities.

While that is going on, Pharuk jbreal dressed like a mechanic sings and raps in the background. The scenery of the video do a good job to depict the hustling conditions people are in.

Rendered in English, Twi and a little bit of Hausa, Pressure features dancehall artistes Cabum and Tijani.

Pharuk is known for songs like Lonely, Footballer and Angel. He said Pressure is to create awareness for his Zongo Against Malaria campaign which is supported by the Ghana Health Service.
