My passion for DJing keeps me going
His passion for working the turn-tables is so great that it is what keeps Saka DJ of Radio XYZ going in life.

The winner of the Best Campus DJ at the Ghana Tertiary Awards who started DJing at age 11 enjoys seeing people happy when he is in charge and dropping tune after tune.
In a chat with Showbiz, Saka DJ, 23, who is also a VJ at Pan Africa TV, that feeling is out of this world. “ I just love DJing. Truth be told, my passion for it keeps me going. I started DJing when I was 11 back in JHS. I used to carry my computer speakers to school during ‘Our Day' to play music for my mates and it was great.
"I became the official DJ for Pope John Senior High and Minor Seminary and I am proud to say I was one of the few who helped shaped the face of entertainment in the school and since that time it has been a very successful journey”, the final year student of the University of Ghana, Legon added.
Known in real life as Frank Saka, Saka DJ has performed on several platforms including Afroma Awards 2016, Face of Teen, Ghana Model Festival 2016 and 2017, Miss UWAD amongst others.
He has also handled music at rdio stations such as Pluzz FM and Radio Gold and he is currently a DJ with Radio XYZ and VJ at Pan Africa TV in Accra.
Saka DJ takes inspiration from senior Disc Jockeys such as DJs Mac Tontoh, Mr Shark, Black and Vyrusky. He is forever grateful to his friends and colleagues like Jay Kojo Daasebre of Radio XYZ, Jacob Opoku and his mother Mrs Vida Ansong Saka for rallying behind him all these years.
Some of the awards he has to his credit are Ghana Tertiary Awards 2015 Most Influential DJ, Best Student DJ from Fame Awards 2016, Most Fashionable School DJ from Fashion& Lifestyle Awards 2016 among others.
