The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) last Thursday paid a courtesy call on Zylofon Media to welcome the media house into the music industry and to create a rapport for future collaborations.

Representing MUSIGA were the President, Bice Osei Kuffuor aka Obour, Vice President, Bessa Simons, National Organiser, Chizzy Wailer, among a host of others.

Obour commended Zylofon Media for their work in breathing life into the music industry and their support for ageing musicians.

“Watching Zylofon Media over a period of time and seeing the great work the company is doing, it would be great for MUSIGA as a union to first of all reach out to Zylofon Media and commend them for the great work they have done so far,” Obour said.

Obour also commended Zylofon Media for their donation to ailing musician, Jewel Ackah.

“Jewel Ackah has been a member of the ageing musicians’ welfare fund and even though we are not able to donate $10,000, we are in our own small way doing our best for them as well.

“We want to let Zylofon Media know that the doors and resources of MUSIGA are at their disposal and we pledge to support the dream of Zylofon Media to see it come to fruition,” he said.

Public Relations Officer of Zylofon Media, Samuel Otuo Baah, said his outfit has outlined a number of projects it hopes to execute in future and called on the support of MUSIGA.

“Zylofon Media would also want to come up with some educational programmes. We are ready to give our premises and resources for this particular course. So if from time to time Zylofon Media and MUSIGA can put together educational programmes, that will be a great achievement for the industry in general,” he said.
