After two successful seasons, telecommunications company MTN is poised to unleash the third edition of its Hit-Maker music talent hunt.
Reliable sources at MTN told the Mirror that Hit-Maker III will be launched next month, soon after the 2013 winner, Koo Ntakara unveils his debut album.
The MTN Hit-Maker programme was initiated in 2012 as a platform to help emerging talents get exposure, learn from experienced industry players and also record their own material.
The first edition was won by Naterial with Miriam as the runner-up. Both artistes have since put out their debut albums and performed at various shows across the country.
“Hit-Maker has so far gone well. It has largely achieved what we set out to do with it and we are sure the third edition will also go well,” the MTN source said.
