Lamisi sings Tanka Fanka
It is very easy to give up when faced with challenges and this phenomenon is what motivated new artiste, Lamisi, to release her maiden single titled Tanka Fanka.

Tanka Fanka is a motivational song which encourages people not to dwell on problems or challenges they might have.
In an interview with Showbiz, Lamisi who is a member of the Patch Bay band said the title of her song, Tanka Fanka, is derived from an expression in the Hausa language, Karika Fanka, which means, “stay focused.”
In the song, Lamisi who sings in a mix of Hausa, Kusaal and English tells listeners that everyone has problems in life but the difference is how people choose to approach them.
According to Lamisi, full name Lamisi Akuka Anabilla, the best option is to choose to be happy and dance the problems away.
Tanka Fanka is a high tempo, upbeat Afropop song mixed with traditional rhythm with a strong vocal delivery from Lamisi who manages to give a good account of herself on the song.
She told Showbiz that she has plans to release an album by next year but this would be preceded by a number of singles.
“I have always had a passion for singing but the reason I am only now releasing a single is because I wanted to focus primarily on my education. I have got a lot more in store for Ghanaians,” she said.
