Titled Massa I Beg, Kwaw Kesse’s song, in which he features fellow rap musician, Ike Wonder, narrates his encounter with the police and demonstrates his regret at the whole incident. He admits his actions and pleads with the  to let him off.

He goes on to say that he does not want any trouble with ‘Osei Krom Koti’ and admits that he is not above the law.

Kwaw Kese recounts that he was short of words when the court refused him bail twice especially as he was itching to be part of the congregation at a Watchnight Service on December 31.

He makes it clear on the song that he would never smoke again, use drugs or be associated with drugs.

“Adeɛ a mayɛ yi, Massa I beg,

 M’agyae gbama, Massa I beg,

Two weeks remand, Massa I beg,

One roll anaa, Massa I beg,

I no wan matter, Massa I beg,

Oseikrom Koti, Massa I beg”, so the chorus goes.

Kwaw Kesse was granted bail on December 30 and is expected to appear in court tomorrow February 27.

Kwaw Kese, was arrested on November 22  by the police in Kumasi  for allegedly smoking cannabis in public. Popularly called Abodam, "he was sitting in an open place in front of the wine shop with other friends and he was smoking cannabis", a police spokesman said.
