Kombolo told Showbiz in a telephone conversation from Geneva that the appreciable audience responded warmly to his songs, some of which were from his collection released in Accra last August titled, Red Gold Green.

A passionate Pan-Africanist, Kombolo’s lyrics generally reflect his passion to see black people all over the world unite for progress. His songs also touch on good citizenship and the tough times many are facing in parts of the world.

“I was given a name - Strength-a-Fyah- meaning ‘the strength of fire’ when I performed in Jamaica in 2013 and I made sure the Geneva audience felt the fire in me at the concert” Kombolo said.

According to him, conscious songs he dropped on the platform with Sizzla included, Love Life, Dash Dem Out, Music is a Mission, Selassie Conquer, Alpha and Omega and Education.

“I bring inspiring music to educate the youth and advise them to stay away from social vices, I believe that education, whether formal or informal, can help the change lives of our youth,” he stated.

Kombolo is hopeful of releasing three singles   before this year runs out.
