The 12-track collection will be unveiled at a concert today, May 29 at the Red Bones Blue’s Café in Kingston. Knii Lante will be backed by Jamaican musicians at the performance.
The True Feelings album was produced by Mickie Bennett and Dean Fraser from Jamaica and Joe Amoah from Ghana.

Four Jamaican musicians: Dean Fraser, Sherine Anderson, G Blunt and Queen Ifrica are featured on the album.

Songs on the True Feeling album include Baby Take Good Care which won Knii Lante the Best Video award at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and House of Pain which secured him the Best Male Vocalist award at the 2013 VGMA.

Knii Lante, through his management in Jamaica, Don Green Entertainment, has managed to create a lot of rapport with Jamaican instrumentalists, producers and concert promoters. He was invited to perform at the Rebel Salute reggae festival in Jamaica in 2012.

The True Feelings album is being launched in Kingston with sponsorship from Grace Kennedy Ghana, producers of the Mighty Malt drink.

Knii Lante was adjudged Best Male Vocalist at the 2011 VGMA and he won the Record of the Year (Yaa Asantewaa) award last year with House of Pain at the Bass Awards dedicated to Ghanaian reggae music.

His 16-track Love & Revolution debut album in 2011 featured Ghanaian rappers Sway, Trigmatic and Leboo. It contained songs like As Flowers Need Rain, Hips In Sway, Big Tree, Bo Noo and Rocky Road.

Sources at Deluge Entertainment, Knii Lante’s management outfit in Ghana indicated that the True Feeling album will be launched later this year in Accra.
