Kay Wusu releases Dabɛn

HE received a lot of bashing when he released his song Asore last year but that did not discourage him. And now, highlife musician Kay Wusu is out with a single called Dabɛn off his upcoming album, We Na Me We Bi.

Unlike Asore which was slammed for its risque content, Dabɛn, a highlife tune has clean and uplifting lyrics.

It is obvious he took his time and did a good job on Dabɛn which was released two weeks ago. In the song, Kay Wusu also known as Anthony Kofi Owusu, expresses his love to his newly found lover.

He asks his sweetheart who has travelled abroad to come back soon because he is feeling lonely. He laments about how he is love-sick and all he dreams or thinks of is his beautiful girl who has left him lonely.

His voice also does the magic. Although the song is slow, it could be enjoyed at any cool environment.

Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Kay Wusu said he is in to make his mark as a great highlife musician. According to him, his Asore song was just to test the waters and now that he knows what Ghanaians want, he is willing to dance to their tune.

Kay Wusu’s upcoming 10 track album which will released in December will feature songs such as Odorkor, Mama Ne Dada, Bebirebe and Love.

The album was recorded by sound engineers, Big Tyme, Standic and Bodo steiger in Germany and also features artistes such Jupiter, Dada K.D and other prominent musicians on the album.
