Irie Ites to the aid of Dancehall artistes

To encourage more artistes to do Reggae and Dancehall, a recording studio, Irie Ites is giving opportunity to young and talented dancehall artistes to explore their potentials.

It has recorded compilation of a number of songs dubbed Irie Jamz Compilation by various artistes.
In a chat with Showbiz, Alekz Adamz, CEO of Irie Ites, the studio located at Nima has in less than three months recorded 30 Dancehall musicians under three different riddims—Irie Bus Riddim, Pretty Nadia Riddim and Nima Clock Riddim.
“ Artistes on the Nima Clock Riddim are Addi Self, Adikora, Blak Mexxiah, Enamily, X- Blankson, Trigazy, Renner, Rashid Metal, Lingua Kat and King Vuvu.
“ Dancehall musicians on the Irie Bus Riddim are Scata Bada, Ras Kuuku, Iwan, Bongo, Osagyefo, Owurasax, Eye Judah, Fii Selah, Kwame Partan, Da Governor and Konkarah.
“ Pretty Nadia Riddim features artistes such as Samini, Wan Row, Kay Tee, Jah Lead, Kamelyeon, Shatta Rako, Jah Phinga and Sheperd.
According to Alekz Adamz, his outfit decided to come out with this project to help young Dancehall artistes who have the talent but do not have the means to make it.
“We also brought artistes such as Samini, Iwan, Fiifi Selah, Ras Kuuku on board to motivate the young ones.
“ The general idea is to get young Dancehall artistes the platform to shine but we felt bringing these already established ones on board will boost the morale of the young ones” Alekz Adamz added.
He disclosed that his outfit was surprised at how well the project has been embraced by the young musicians.
