Although no songs came from her camp since then, Dela said she never left music even as she worked as a sales person for motor companies. And to back her ascertion that she never left music, she is out with a new single Let Me Go and its accompanying video which was directed by Prince Dovlo.

Let Me Go, produced by Richie of Lynx Entertainment, which is about tepid relationships employs some stimulating piano and guitar works in a mellow tempo vein.

Dela who worked as a car sales person while she went under the music radar told Showbiz, although she has been quiet on the music scene, she has been engaged in other musical activities including performances with Highlife legend, Kojo Antwi.

"Although I took a little break to attend to other equally important aspects of my life, I've been involved in one way or the other in the music business. I  continued to tour with the Maestro Kojo Antwi every year, took my vocal coaching lessons and stayed abreast of trends in the industry" said Dela.

She explained that her love for marketing was the reason she went corporate.

"I've always and will always be a musician, it's in-built thing and I can't do anything without my music. I live and love music. However, there's always been another part of me that loved the corporate world. I also believe that a determined person can engage in two professions and be good at both of them.

“ Well, I did veer into marketing, but marketing and sales have a way of intertwining with all aspects of our lives that deal with communication and music is one of those. So I believe I did what's right for my art. It's good to know your art, know your worth and how to market yourself" she added.

Dela who holds a BSC in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) worked with Auto Plaza Limited as the Sales Manager from 2008 - 2015.

She later joined Japan Motors where she served as Senior Sales Consultant for two years (2015 - 2017) and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Pinus Business Solutions.
