Feli Nuna back with I Like Am

Feli Nuna back with I Like Am

Her rapping prowess on her debut single, Ghana Girl Swag, got the endorsement of Okyeame Kwame in 2013 but Feli Nuna, who was then with Lynx Entertainment couldn’t hold the steam for long.

Two years after going silent, the former Miss Ghana finalist is back from her “hideout” and wants Ghanaians to assess her with her new song, I Like Am.

According to Feli Nuna, who was formerly known as Felly, she is ready to take her rightful place since she is  gifted to sing and rap and she aptly defines that quality as an artiste on I Like Am.

The party song which was recorded last month by Fizzi in Madina entreats people to appreciate the need to have positive mind and aspire for the best in life.

On the song, Feli Nuna, real name, Felicia Nuna Akosua Tawiah, tells her haters she does not have time for their hatred since she is aiming for her goals in life and nothing could distract her.

For a budding talent who could have enjoyed the influence of a popular artiste on the song, Feli Nuna takes the task of both rapping and singing.

Despite the fast rhythm, she keeps pace with the tempo and flows with her lyrics. Her delivery on I like Am is ample evidence that the young talent is poised for greater works in future.

In an interview with Showbiz on Monday, Feli Nuna who is currently signed onto Bee Hyye Entertainment believes she has got what it takes to rub shoulders with the “big guns in the game”.

“It is rare to get a musician rapping and singing at the same time but I am blessed I have both qualities” the native of Leklebi Agbesia in the Volta Region said.

According to the graduate of University of Ghana, Legon, she admires artistes such as Lauryn Hill, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Nas, J. Cole, Fela Kuti, Hugh Masakella and Akosua Adjepong.
