Don Johnson ‘raps’ Awurama
Every man needs a good woman to treat him well and Highlife musician, Don- Johnson believes his woman, Awurama is the perfect girl he needs in his life.

Don – Johnson describes how perfect his lady is on his latest song titled Awurama recorded by Qoff. On the song which was released last month, he talks about Awurama having all the good qualities any man wants in his woman.
Using words like beauty queen, my angel, perfect lady and a woman of vision, Don – Johnson sings about how he’s in a hurry to marry Awurama since he’s the woman of his dreams.
A fast tempo song which will get any listener on the feet to dance, Don- Johnson who is grateful to God said he wishes to work with Highlife artistes such as Ofori Amponsah and Samuel Owusu.
“I have always admired these Highlife artistes and appreciate their depth in compositions. They are rich with words and that has set them apart from their competitors,” he stated.
In the next five years, Don- Johnson, real name, Akyea Wiredu Don-Johnson says he wants to see himself rubbing shoulders with huge names on the highlife scene such as Kwabena Kwabena.
As a pupil teacher, the only challenge Don- Johnson, who is currently a Level 400 student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism said he’s facing is juggling studies with his teaching profession.
“Due to excessive talking during lessons, I sometimes lose my voice and that affects the richness of my voice when I get to the studio to record. But that hasn’t discouraged me from pursing my music dreams,” he stated.
