Dompe cautions men on Kaabu me akwala
Many young men have fallen prey to the antics of underage girls who woo them with their shapely bodies and scant dressing but hipife artiste, Yaw Dompe, has warned such men to be wary of these “predators”.

Kaabu me akwala which features Luther of Dome tamo sɔ fame and Raship Metal, the trio takes turns to sing and rap about how these young girls lure older men to get from them what they desire.
They caution older men to watch out for such young girls who apply make up to have a mature look and said for them, their anthem for their stock of trade is ,” Kaabu me akwala”, to wit, “ don’t think of me as a child”.
Even though the song has a title that can easily get the attention of a listener, the sound quality and instrumentation is not the best.
Rendered in an Alkayida rhythm fused with some hiplife tunes, Dompe is hopeful that his latest song will shoot him to limelight once again after taking a long break from the music scene.
“Sometimes, you need to study the scene and know what will appeal to you and in my case; getting a slogan that is catchy enough is a sure deal to get my name back on the scene. I am very hopeful that Kaabu me akwala will give me a new opportunity,” he said.
A former student of Tema Secondary School (TEMASCO), Yaw Dompe, real name, Davis Owusu-Ansah, hails from Asante-Mampong.
He had a stint in music in 2007 when he did a song with Kofi Nti and Castro but it did not make an impact due to lack of publicity and financial constraints.
He told Showbiz last week Thursday that, his new management team is committed to ensuring that he “bounces back in style” and stays on and competes favourably on the music scene.
On why he featured Luther and Rashid Metal, he remarked, “They came into the industry with vigor, positive spirit and the ability to make it happen and so far, they have been able to leave up to expectation by churning good songs that have shot them into the limelight. I decided to tap into their talent and bring out something good for music lovers to enjoy too” he stated.
