Dark Surburb for AFRIMA awards
Alternative Rock group, Dark Surburb have received nominations in the Best African Rock category at this year’s All African Music Awards (AFRIMA) which comes off on Sunday, November 6.

The awards which would be held in Lagos, Nigeria is designed to promote the distinct rich African music worldwide, engaging millions of fans by propelling African music to the rest of the world.
Dark Suburb are also expected to perform at the Nominees Jam which comes off tomorrow, Friday, November 4 to Saturday, November 5 in Lagos.
Speaking to Showbiz, the group which was nominated in Best Story Line at the 4syte Music Video Awards last week, urged their fans to propel them to victory by taking part in the online voting currently on-going.
They added that the nominations were an endorsement of their hard work and a reward for their efforts.
They said the nominations were even more remarkable considering the fact that all the nods were based on the various singles the group has released despite not having an album yet.
“We are so excited because just like last year, we are getting the chance to perform on an international stage where we showcase what we have to offer to the rest of the world. We can’t wait to make Ghana and Africa proud,” they said.
The group announced that their album is almost done and would be released on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
“Our album is virtually completed and we hope to make it available to the public next year, after which we will embark on a tour,” they said.
