The originator of the concept and CEO of RQV, Mr Rodney Quarcoo, said  in an interview with the Daily Graphic that the event dubbed, BoxBreakers Live, will be held once, every two months and will feature fresh artistes who will be mentored by great musicians such as the legendary Kojo Antwi among others.

According to Mr Quarcoo, who is a professional photographer and regular scout for the Miss Malaika beauty reality show, there are a lot of creative talents in the country who require the platform to develop their acts.

“But it is only the established artistes, who always get invited to perform at events so the BoxBreakers Live show has been launched to keep new artistes busy and also give them some positive images in the eyes of the public,” he pointed out.

The Noizebox TV platform, he said, is seeking to lead new and emerging music and musicians in a different direction. “We are doing so in a ground-breaking new way”.

He explained that the BoxBreakers Live show is a music concert project aimed at introducing new music and fresh artistes while celebrating emerging music through the energy of live music performances.

The first in the series of the show on the Noizebox platform will be held tonight at the Exel’s Club 45 at 7p.m.

The up-and-coming artistes on the bill include Ghalileo, Dex Kwasi, Azizaa, and Tip Tahir. The Music Man, Kojo Antwi is expected to “pass through” to fire up the young musicians.

Noizebox is a video driven network looking to intrigue, challenge, and inspire Africa's next generation. Clips from the show will be uploaded on the Internet to expose Ghana’s musical talents to the world.

“The network will represent the Africans who define culture and influence society. It is an empowering platform to showcase and educate Africa!” Mr Quarcoo told the Daily Graphic, while inviting music lovers to “Come and experience curated mixed-genre new music.”
