Titled Tu Na Me Nsa, the 10-track album was recorded at the Mastermix Studios in Accra and mixed and mastered in Germany.
The Bigshots repertoire ranges from songs that revive the Afro-jazz and funk feel of earlier Ghanaian popular music, to ‘jazz fusions’ creatively interspersed with indeginous melodies.
They draw on an immense musical heritage of highlife, soul, funk, reggae and Afro-beat which they creatively remould into something new.
From its early stages in 2008 until now, the band has played over 50 live shows which makes them quite a stage experienced group.
The band is on the verge of creating a strong musical style of its own that should take them into the future.
If they continue to work as a team, their outstanding music and vibrant performances will elevate this band to a wider, international audience.
