B.ryt sings Daakye
After getting some considerable attention with Yenkoda, Bra Fie and Life, singer and rapper, Bright Owusu Anti known in showbiz circles as B.ryt is out with a new song titled Daakye.

“Music began for me at an early age when I started singing and playing the piano in church.
“I started rapping in high school which I did for fun but later realised I could do this professionally since I was getting positive feedback from my peers and family.
I recorded my first single Life at Moni 3 studios and since then, I have been following my dream,” he said in a chat with Showbiz recently.
Daakye, produced by Lexyz is a mid-tempo highlife song sang in Twi with a very catchy melody and chorus everyone can sing along to.
“The song is a true life story about a friend. This friend of mine lives with his girlfriend who he likes very much but he has financial challenges.
“Naturally, the lady is worried and I have always encouraged her to look at the brighter side in the future and not my friend’s current situation,” he explained.
With musical inspirations from Daddy Lumba, Daasebre Gyamena, Kojo Antwi and Sarkodie among others, B.ryt says he has dreams of working with his “mentors”, a wish he prays would be answered.
When asked about problems he has faced in the music industry, he told Showbiz, “It is very hard getting my music played since I am an upcoming artiste. It is even impossible sometimes to get a platform to showcase my talent but I keep pushing for my breakthrough”.
The video for Daakye which was directed by Prince Dovlo has already been released. Currently, he is working on his yet-to-be –released song, I Don’t Wanna Lose You and hopes the song will be a hit.
