Prison Graduates opens at the National Theatre

April Communications Ltd is ready to stage its latest play Prison Graduates written by celebrated Ghanaian playwright, the late Efo Kodjo Mawugbe at the National Theatre on Saturday, April 29.

The play is a political satire about Ghana and talks about serious issues on a lighter note. 

It highlights situations in the country such as the 'cash and carry' system which is still operational, how young and energetic people pay huge sums of money to go abroad to seek greener pastures among others. 

The play features great talents like celebrated actor Adjetey Anang, comedian Clemento Suarez, Chapman and Oheneba Mensah- Bonsu and directed by Fiifi Coleman. There will be two shows at 4pm and 8pm

In 2009, Prison Graduates won English as a second Language category of the BBC World Service/British Council International Radio Playwriting Competition.
