Leah Brown promotes Ghana at Miss Globe

At the end of a grueling two-week fiesta, Miss Vietnam was crowned the over-all winner of the 2017 Miss Globe contest. She was followed by Miss Philippines while the third prize went to Miss Albania. Miss Siberia and Miss Cape Verde completed the top five.

Ghana’s representative, Leah Brown consciously projected the Ghanaian culture at the pageant by rocking beautiful Kente costumes and other indigenous apparel during the highly competitive photo shoot sessions.

From October 22 to November 4, the contestants engaged in fun-filled and educative activities such as tours around Tirana, the talent shows, dinner in Divjaka, a trip to the Dajti mountain with cable car, Halloween party with all the participants at Strasbourg Lounge among others.

Miss Globe is an international beauty pageant with many years of organizing and promoting a woman's role in the world. Education, well-being and self-esteem of women have always been the primary goal of the pageant.

The Miss Globe franchise holders in Ghana, First Royal Events Limited said they are making efforts to popularise the event in Ghana to give more intelligent, beautiful and confident Ghanaian ladies the great opportunity that the pageant offers.
