Miss Ghana ladies meet Sonnie Badu and John Dumelo

As the clock ticks closer to finals of the 2015 Miss Ghana pageant, it is only natural that some of the contestants would be nervous. And to put them at ease for the D-Day, the organisers of the pageant, Exclusive Events Ghana arranged a mentorship session for the finalists last Wednesday.

The contestants met with multiple award-winning gospel musician, Sonnie Badu, actor John Dumelo and actress Selassie Ibrahim for a mentorship session at the offices of  Smarttys Management & Productions.


From the looks on their faces it was evident that the ladies competing for this year’s crown were excited to have a one-on-one session with these renowned entertainers.

Actress and television hostess, Selassie Ibrahim who is also the CEO of Smarttys Management & Productions shared her life experience with them. She cited challenges she had to overcome to encourage the contestants to stand firm in the face of challenges. “ Hold onto your beliefs and values during challenging times. Always remember that believing in yourself is a significant part of making your dreams come true”, she said.

Gospel musician Sonnie Badu and actor John Dumelo, on their part asked the Miss Ghana finalists to put their faith in God, work hard but still have time to enjoy the finer things in life.

The grand finale of the 2015 Miss Ghana is scheduled to come off in November 2015.
