We hold the Power Minister to his word
We are revisiting the issue of the power crisis that the country is currently plagued with, in view of the latest promise made by the Minister of Power, Dr Kwabena Donkor.

Last Monday, at a press conference, he gave an assurance that the government was in control of the situation and had instituted measures that would permanently banish load-shedding from the country by the end of the year.
Dr Donkor said “load-shedding will end this year. Not only will it end but we don’t expect to see load shedding again because of the measures we are taking”.
There had been many of such promises in the past which had not been fulfilled, thereby making Ghanaians lose faith in any promise to end the crisis.
We, however, believe that since the latest promise has come from the Power Minister, who, we believe, has the required expertise to enable us to come out of the crisis, we lose nothing by trusting him to put the necessary measures in place to achieve that goal.
