The Government of Russia is expected to fly home its Chief Justice from Ghana, as quickly as possible, for further medical treatment after he got involved in car crash in the West African country on Monday, Ghana’s foreign affairs Minister, Hannah Tetteh, has said. Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Lebedev was returning from a conference of the Ghana Bar Association in the country’s Volta region when the accident occurred.
Hannah Tetteh told Journalists in Accra at the meet the press series that Mikhailovich Lebedev was in a stable condition.
He was rushed to the 37 Military hospital in the national capital, Accra, for treatment after the accident which left him with injuries.
The Police have launched investigations into Monday’s accident.
Justice Lebedev had addressed the Annual Bar Conference and was scheduled to meet President John Dramani Mahama and Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho.
