Yutong Ghana, the sole distributor of Yutong buses in the country, has made changes to its management team to enhance the company’s operations in the country.
The new team comprises Mr Meng Tao as the new General Manager, Mrs Adwoa Frimpomaa Nimako-Boateng as Deputy General Manager, Mr William Xie, Spare Parts Manager and Zhou Yang as the Workshop Manager.
Mr Meng, who leads the team, will be responsible for managing and strengthening the overall sales and after-sales service of the Yutong brand in the country.
He is expected to co-ordinate the team to manage the company’s services, sales and services of parts and after-sales service across the country.
"With his breadth of experience and focus on after sales service, we are confident that Mr Meng will drive Yutong into the next phase of growth," a statement from the company said.
“Mr Meng is a veteran in the automobile industry with about 20 years of experience in the bus manufacturing and retailing industry. He joined Yutong Ghana from the Yutong Zhengzhou After-Sales-Service Centre, where he served as General Manager,’’ the statement said.
As General Manager of Yutong Ghana, he will be expected to reposition the company as a ‘four-in-one’ brand that will retail the Yutong buses, service them after sales, sell spare parts and carry out survey works, the statement explained.
