Global stablecoin infrastructure provider Yellow Card has won Gold in the Diamond category at the 2026 Money Awards, held on Sunday, October 18 in Las Vegas as part of Money20/20 USA, marking the company’s second consecutive win at the awards following its Grand Prix victory in the Payments category in 2025.
Money20/20 describes the Diamond category as the programme’s highest honour, celebrating the most transformative achievement in global fintech.
Commenting on the recognition, Chris Maurice, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Yellow Card, said the company had big ambitions when it started almost ten years ago but could not have imagined how far the journey would take it. He said the company made bold decisions this year to take what it had built in emerging markets and expand its vision globally, and now works alongside some of the world’s largest corporate and financial institutions. He described the recognition, particularly at this stage of the company’s journey, as incredibly meaningful, expressing pride in what had been achieved and gratitude to the entire team for making it possible.
The award follows a defining year for Yellow Card. In June, the company was named to Fortune’s inaugural Crypto Innovators list. It subsequently secured US$40 million in strategic funding, expanded its footprint across Latin America, Asia-Pacific and North America, and secured AML regulatory affiliation in Switzerland. The company also launched Global Accounts, enabling businesses to open named USD, GBP and EUR accounts and connect to local payment rails in more than 190 countries through a single API or its Treasury Portal.
For Justin Poiroux, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, the recognition is also a celebration of the technology and people behind the company’s growth. He said the team had spent years with its head down, solving complex challenges and building technology that makes moving money across borders simpler, and that seeing the technology make a real difference for businesses around the world brought home the impact of what had been built. He described having that work recognised on a global stage for the second year running as incredibly rewarding and a proud moment for the entire team.
Yellow Card’s second consecutive Money Awards win reflects its growing influence in global financial services as the company continues to expand its international presence and build the stablecoin infrastructure connecting businesses and financial institutions across markets. Yellow Card is a leading global infrastructure provider enabling banks, fintechs and multinational businesses to access US dollars, manage treasury and move money across borders. Supporting more than 50 currencies, the company combines global reach with deep emerging markets coverage and is trusted by customers including Visa and Western Union.
