Yellow Card, a global financial infrastructure provider powering stablecoin-enabled payments, treasury and access to dollar liquidity, has announced the appointment of Mr Ross Everett as Group Chief Financial Officer.
Mr Everett joins the company following a career spanning financial services, banking and high-growth technology companies, including finance leadership experience at Monzo Bank and Deutsche Bank, as well as working with Barclays and KPMG. At Monzo, he served as Group Financial Controller, bringing expertise across financial reporting, control and governance within one of the United Kingdom's leading digital banks.
In his new role, he will lead Yellow Card's global finance function and play a central role in supporting the company's continued international expansion. His remit will span financial strategy, planning and performance, reporting, treasury, capital management and financial governance as the company scales its infrastructure across international markets.
"Yellow Card has built world-class infrastructure to solve a problem every cross-border business understands, moving money quickly, cheaply and reliably," Mr Everett said. "That combination of global reach, strong platform and real customer need is what drew me here. Having spent a significant part of my career building the financial discipline behind hypergrowth, my focus now is building the same foundations at Yellow Card, so the company can scale globally without losing that rigour."
His appointment comes at an important stage in the company's evolution following its recent US$40 million strategic funding round, which went to support expansion into Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
The Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Yellow Card, Mr Chris Maurice, said that as stablecoin infrastructure moves from promise to scale, the company needs financial leadership that can keep pace. He said Mr Everett had built that discipline before and would build it at Yellow Card.
The appointment further strengthens the company's executive leadership team as it continues to expand its business globally.
Yellow Card is a leading global infrastructure provider enabling banks, fintechs and multinational businesses to access US dollars, manage treasury and move money across borders. Supporting more than 50 currencies, the company combines global reach with deep emerging markets coverage and is trusted by customers including Visa and Western Union.
