What speakers at 5th MTN Pulse ‘Just be series’ said about promoting entrepreneurship among young people

The fifth edition of the MTN Pulse Ghana ‘Just Be Series’ hosted by MTN Pulse in partnership with Ahaspora Professionals Network and MTN Ayoba was held in Accra on Saturday under the theme - Navigating New Market Trends.

The entrepreneuship masterclass which targeted up-and-coming and early-stage entrepreneurs focused on new marketing trends that must be monitored and the need for young entrepreneurs to uniquely position themselves to navigate the ‘new normal.’

The session helped to build on key learnings from the 4th edition that emphasised how entrepreneurs can secure and manage their business capital to scale up.

On the panel were young entrepreneurs including Content Creator, and Influencer, Zubaida Abdel-Rahman; CEO and Founder, CEQA Foods and Beverages, Ghana, Christian Boakye Yiadom; Founder, Workspace Global, Sydney Scott Sam and Dental Surgeon, Content Creator, Dr Michael Awua-Mensah.

Caleb Kudah from Citi TV/FM was the moderator of the session.

Among the audience were young Ghanaians between the ages of 18-30 who own their business, have an interest in entrepreneurship, aspire to start a business, struggling to sustain a business, manage a business for an employee and have an interest in networking with fellow entrepreneurs.

About the MTN Pulse “Just Be Series”

The MTN Pulse “Just Be series” is a youth conversing with youth programme designed to encourage today’s youth to aspire to be great entrepreneurs.

The series is powered by MTN Pulse, a youth segment of MTN focused on enriching the lives of Ghanaian youth through empowerment, entertainment, and education.

The event was a hybrid event (virtual and in-person) for greater participants' reach and greater impact.

The panelist rotated in a round-robin session dubbed, “Say it like it is” to give in-depth presentations and their unique journeys and learnings. The purpose is to provide first-hand information on local entrepreneurship experiences to encourage engagement.
