Vlisco celebrates women with new collection
Vlisco Ghana has unveiled its latest collection, to mark its Women's Month campaign launched early on in March.

The new collection dubbed “Eclectic Cool” is inspired by the women shaping legacies in diversity and with authenticity.
The Eclectic Cool fabrics comes in variety of colours in Grand Super Wax, Wax and Super Wax with floral and offbeat colour combinations for the modern woman.
Vlisco Women’s Month (VWM), is an annual campaign that seeks to honour the outstanding achievements of Ghanaian women who are contributing positively in diverse ways to society and inspiring future female leaders to follow in their path.
It is celebrated each year throughout the month of March to reflect Vlisco’s ongoing commitment to empowering women and helping them to realise their true potential.
The event which doubled as an occasion to unveil Nisirine Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku as its first Ghanaian Influencer was attended by Vlisco’s past Brand Ambassadors including Elizabeth Patterson, Dr Ellen Hagan, Yawa Hansen-Quao, Regina Honu and Edith Uyovbukerh.
Speaking at the event in Accra last Saturday, the Brands Manager of Vlisco, Deborah Sowah, as a brand for every woman, Vlisco believes in celebrating the power of womanhood not just on International Women’s Day, but throughout the entire month of March.
That's why the Vlisco brand worldwide has teamed up with the remarkable women of Vlisco to create a special campaign, “Every Woman” providing a platform to tell the remarkable stories of these phenomenal women”.
Commenting on the appointment, Vlisco Ghana’s first Brand Influencer, Naa Ashorkor, expressed her excitement for being Vlisco's first Ghanaian influencer stating “I'm privileged to champion the brand's mission of celebrating extraordinary women who shape our society. I am happy to be riding on the shoulders of several inspiring women including the past Seven (7) Ambassadors of Vlisco Ghana.”
