UniCredit goes to Children’s Hospital

Management of uniCredit has donated an amount of GH¢10, 000 to the Children’s Hospital in Accra.

Making the presentation, the General Manager of UniCredit, Mr P.V Yeboah-Asiamah, recounted the relationship between uniCredit and the Children’s hospital over the past four years.

He said a special needy fund for the hospital, established by uniCredit, continued to be a source of relief for the less privileged children who couldn’t afford medical care.

Mr Yeboah- Asiamah said uniCredit considered it a social duty to help the hospital, especially considering the number of patients the facility handled.

He praised the medical staff for their effort and assured them that uniCredit would always lend a helping hand. 

Touching on uniCredit’s progress over the years, Mr Yeboah- Asiamah said uniCredit had come a long way and was poised to achieve even more in the coming year.

He said as part of its expansion programme, the bank plans to add nine more branches by the end of 2015 with an improved and enhanced IT infrastructure that would offer the best of customer service to its clientele base.

With diversified and improved products and services, uniCredit has grown in terms of reach with branches spread across Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi.

Dr Isaac Abban, Pediatric Specialist at the Children’s Hospital was full of praise for uniCredit and said they were expecting more assistance from other allied bodies to cater for the varied needs of the hospital.

He said uniCredit has proven to be a reliable social partner and their partnership has been very beneficial.
