As part of uniBank’s quest to sustain the sales drive in the “Let’s Go Brazil” Promo, the bank has organised a series of street floats across the country to sensitise its customers and the general public to the on-going deposit mobilisation promotion.
The float, which made its last stop in Accra on Thursday, moved from the bank’s head office annex at Kokomlemle, with over 200 participants on fully-loaded promo branded articulated trucks and uniBank corporate cars, who danced and marched to the beat of brass band music.
Popular radio and television presenter, Seth Kwame Dzokoto (of Edzibanaaaa fame), led the charge around the principal streets of Accra.
The Executive Director-Technology at uniBank, Mr Owusu-Ansah Awere, explained that “the float was meant to create awareness about the promotion, attract maximum customer participation and generally create excitement around the promotion.”
He also indicated that as the Official Bank of the Black Stars, it behoved on uniBank to offer every form of support to spur them on, stating that, “this promotion is another platform to galvanise support for the Black Stars in their pursuit of glory at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil”.
He, therefore, urged customers to continuously entrust the bank with their business and financial dealings, as well as patronise their range of deposits and savings products tailor-made to meet their varied needs.
The Chairman of the “Let’s Go Brazil” Promo Committee, Mr Isaac Palomeras, thanked loyal customers for their patronage so far and urged all prospective customers to join the promo to taste the ‘caring nature’ of the bank.
He reiterated the rationale for the promotion which was to “show immense appreciation to the bank’s loyal customers and stakeholders who have stayed with us and indeed patronised our quality products and services.”
Mr Palomeras said the promo would give customers and football loving fans, “the opportunity to go to Brazil and support the Black Stars in the upcoming FIFA World Cup”.
