Media houses should avoid STC30 adverts on their platforms - Superlife Ghana

Network marketing company, Superlife Ghana has urged media organisations to desist from advertising its product (STC30) on their platforms.

According to the Country Director of Superlife Ghana, Ms Nancy Nyarko, this is because advertising on traditional media channels goes against its business model which operates through multi-level marketing and word-of-mouth referrals.

She told GraphicOnline in an interview that the warning had come after one of its partners had begun running adverts on electronic media platforms.

Statement

In a statement, the company said: "The Superlife Ghana Office is entreating all media houses not to advertise the under-listed product (STC30) on their platform.

"By this directive, all media houses are to disengage from continuous promotion of any advert currently running on their platforms showcasing this product. We would like to use this medium also to ask for the cooperation from all Superlife members to desist from acts that contravenes with the ethics of Direct Sales Marketing for which Superlife World Network Limited is proud to be associated with".

The statement also stressed that STC30 has been registered “as a Food Supplement with the Food and Drug Authority in Ghana”.

“Therefore, media houses are encouraged not to accept any form of request from individual for advert placements, unless it has sanctions from the company and has gone through the necessary vetting and approval from the FDA,” the statement added.

It also called on the cooperation of all Superlife members and entreated them to avoid acts that breach the ethics of Direct Sales Marketing.
