Prudential Bank charts new growth path after GH¢1.13 billion recapitalisation

Prudential Bank Limited has held a highly anticipated Staff Durbar and Town Hall meeting to chart a new path for growth following its successful GH¢1.13 billion recapitalisation, with leadership reaffirming their commitment to the bank's long-term expansion.

The engagement, held at the bank's Head Office Annex, formed part of its internal communication efforts to keep employees informed about significant corporate developments, address questions, and promote a shared understanding of the bank’s priorities.

Addressing the staff, the Group Board Chairman of Bloom Africa Holding Ghana Limited and Shareholders’ Representative, Gabriel Edgal, delivered a message of confidence and strategic vision, commending the management team and the entire workforce for steering the bank through the recapitalisation phase.

He reminded the staff that the Board remains fully committed to Prudential Bank’s long-term growth and market dominance, providing a sense of direction and reassurance.

Earlier in a presentation, the Acting Managing Director, Ebow Quayson, expressed profound gratitude to the staff for their resilience and hard work throughout the challenging recapitalisation process.

"The recapitalisation marks an essential step in strengthening Prudential Bank’s capacity to pursue its strategic ambitions, invest in technology, and enhance the experience we deliver to our customers. As we move forward, the commitment, collaboration, and professionalism of our staff will be essential in translating this strengthened foundation into sustainable growth and long-term value for our customers and stakeholders," he said.

The Town Hall also served as the platform for the formal introduction of the newly appointed members of the Board and the Bank’s Executive Committee. The tone of the evening shifted from speeches to celebration as the event transitioned into a TGIF gathering, with staff across all branches nationwide enjoying food, music, and relaxation.

The bank noted that the activities of the evening were a resounding success, proving that when Prudential Bank is aligned, transparent, and united, there is no limit to what can be achieved.
