Prince Kofi Amoabeng to announce retirement from UT bank

The CEO of UT bank, Mr Prince Kofi Amoabeng, will part ways with the bank by the end of 2015, it has been reported.

Accra-based Citi FM reported on Tuesday that the CEO will formally announce his retirement from the bank at a press conference today.

According to the report, the bank’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr Antwi-Asimeng , is likely to replace Mr Amoabeng as CEO.

Mr. Prince Kofi Amoabeng who is also the co-founder of the UT Group of companies and an investment consultant and a retired military officer .

He has extensive experience in managing businesses through excellent customer relations, strategic and tactical business planning as well as strategic partnerships including 12 years lecturing at the Ghana Stock Exchange. His achievements include three times running “Ghana’s Most Respected CEO (2008, 2010 and 2012) organized by Pricewaterhousecoopers and B&FT.
