Old Mutual rewards financial advisors

Eighty financial advisors of an insurance company, Old Mutual Ghana Limited, have been rewarded for their outstanding contributions to the growth of the company.

They were honoured at an awards ceremony in Accra.

The ceremony was on the theme: ‘Pushing beyond boundaries,’ in line with the values of the company.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Old Mutual Ghana, Mr Chris Kapanga, said the awards were to honour the contribution the advisors made towards the development of the brand.

“Indeed, as our financial advisors, you are Old Mutual’s brand ambassadors. Through you, our customers understand and appreciate our products and services. Through you, they are able to make decisions on what products and services will serve their financial goals or dreams,” the CEO said.

The top award went to Mr Eric Kelvin Appiah. He received a cash award of GH¢8,000, a 40-inch plasma television set and trips to Dubai and Paris.

The second award went to Mr Walter Klomegah, the Sales Manager; he was the second recipient of the offshore award.

Fifteen other financial advisors also received onshore awards and a trip to Cape Town.

The Head of Distribution, Ms Linda Mariwande, noted that the financial advisors had managed to overcome several challenges to win the prestigious awards, hence the need to recognise them with the awards.
