Nsaa Play launches Chop Money Mobile raffle platform

Nsaa Play Limited has launched Chop Money, a mobile raffle platform designed to make entering prize draws more convenient and accessible to Ghanaians, with tickets priced at GH₵5 for a chance to win prizes ranging from smartphones and electronics to shopping vouchers and everyday essentials.

Unveiled at the Accra City Hotel, Chop Money offers two ways to participate: by dialling *2727# on any mobile phone, including basic handsets, or by visiting www.chopmoneygh.com. The platform does not require an app download, and the USSD option allows participants to enter without an internet connection.

The first raffle opens in November 2026, with five winners scheduled to be drawn on December 4, 2026. "Our ambition is to make participating straightforward and accessible, while giving people an exciting way to engage with prizes that are relevant to their everyday lives," said Albert Aryee, General Manager of Nsaa Play Limited.

A representative of the National Lottery Authority Caritas Team, Akua Serwaa Adu Darko, also commented at the launch, confirming that Chop Money met the required standards and received the Authority's official approval to operate its raffle draws.

Chop Money will feature a range of prizes, including smartphones, electronics, shopping vouchers and everyday essentials. The platform will publish details of the available prizes and the rules for each raffle, so participants can understand what is on offer before entering. "Prizes are an important part of the excitement, and we want to offer items people recognise, value, and look forward to winning," Mr Aryee added.

To participate, users can access the platform via USSD or the website, choose a raffle, review the available prizes and purchase a ticket for GH₵5, subject to the applicable raffle rules. Participants will receive confirmation of their entry and can follow the published results after the draw. They may purchase multiple tickets where permitted, with each valid ticket providing an entry and increasing their chances in that draw.

Following the launch, Nsaa Play intends to introduce further raffles and prizes as it develops Chop Money within Ghana’s digital entertainment market.
