Nhyiraeso cocoa farmer wins MTN Promo
A 70-year old cocoa farmer in Nyhiraeso in the Ashanti Region, Nana P.K. Agyemang, has won the GH¢150,000 jackpot in the MTN Dream Big Extreme Promotion.

In a draw supervised by the Gaming Commission of Ghana, Nana Agyemang’s phone number popped up as the overall winner in the draw.
When reached on phone with the information, Nana Agyemang could not hide his emotions as he sang praises to God for bringing him that far.
His 46-year-old wife, Janet, said “Nana will use the money given him to buy credit to text to 2020; he has spent a lot of money on this and at a point I had to force him to stop it to make money available for housekeeping”.
Prior to the mega draw, David Chaway and Joseph Osei had taken GH¢5,000 each for the daily random pick and the highest texter respectively.
In the MTN promotion, which started last November and was run till April 7, 2013, three people individually picked brand new jaguar XF2012 in the monthly draws.
They were Elvis Baidoo, a Phd student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST); Samuel Oduro, an entrepreneur from Sunyani and Prince Owusu Boakye, a businessman who deals in electrical appliances and hails from the Ashanti Region.
In all, 95 people had GH¢5,000 each while more than 9,000 people also won airtime over the last 95 days.
According to MTN, the promotion had been highly rewarding and also made the brand stronger.
