The search for Ghana’s next music and dance talents is officially underway as NESCAFÉ My Coffee, My Vibe, Campus Groove kicked off at the University of Ghana, Legon, bringing together students ready to turn their passion, creativity and individuality into their own unique vibe.
Following the campaign’s launch at the Legon Athlete Oval Handball Court on August 7, 26, students got the chance to experience the creamy, rich taste of NESCAFÉ while enjoying a fun evening of engaging activities and specially crafted mocktails.
The energy on campus set the perfect tone for what came next: the auditions.
The Accra auditions took place at the Dance Department, Mawere Opoku Dance Hall, inside the University of Ghana, Legon where aspiring musicians and dancers stepped forward to showcase their talent.
From energetic dance performances to bold musical expressions, the auditions demonstrated exactly what My Coffee, My Vibe is about giving young people a platform to express who they are and what makes their vibe different.
For NESCAFÉ, coffee is more than a drink. It is a form of self-expression, a reflection of your mood, energy, culture and identity.
Through My Coffee, My Vibe, the brand is taking that idea beyond the cup and onto university campuses, creating opportunities for emerging talents in Ghana to be seen, heard and celebrated. And Legon was only the beginning.
With the first campus audition now wrapped up, the excitement moves to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on August 21, followed by the University of Cape Coast (UCC) on September 18.
For students with a talent they believe deserves the spotlight, the message is simple: your vibe could be the next one everyone is talking about.
Legon has shown us the talent. KNUST, you’re next. UCC, get ready.
