Menzgold: Customers mass-up in anticipation of dividend payments

Some customers of gold dealership firm, Menzgold have massed up at the East Legon office of the company in anticipation of receiving their dividends.

The embattled firm announced at a press conference yesterday that it will begin the payment of dividends accrued on the gold trade business to its patrons today (September 28).

A text message sent by Menzgold to the customers invited patrons to visit their branches today at 1 pm to check their payment schedules.

According to the payment schedule of the company, only customers whose investments matured between August 5-9th will receive their dividends today (Friday, September 28).

Some of the customers Graphic Online spoke to at the scene appeared disappointed after officials of the embattled company announced that their dividends would not be paid to them today.

According to an official of the company, although the firm announced Thursday that they would begin payments today, those dividends would be disbursed on scheduled dates.

Scores of customers who appeared disappointed at the development, grumbled as the announcement was made today.
