Made-in-Ghana goods exhibition launched
The President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), Nana Owusu Afari, has asked stakeholders in the trade industry to team up and find solutions to challenges hindering the free flow of trade among African countries.

According to him, the only way to promote good business and enhance activities among traders was for players in the industry to work in partnership.
He was speaking at the launch of the first ever made-in Ghana goods exhibition to be held in Nigeria.
The exhibition, which will be held from September 3 to 7, 2013, is expected to promote a viable export trade for manufacturers in Ghana.
Nana Afari said the exhibition would build and strengthen bilateral relations between Ghana and Nigeria.
He commended First Atlantic Bank for its efforts at facilitating trade between Ghana and Nigeria, which according to him, was a big opportunity for both countries to showcase their products not only in both countries but across the globe.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First Atlantic Bank, Mr Gabriel Edgal, said the initiative would have socio-cultural and economic benefits for Ghana.
Mr Michael Ajayi, CEO of Vintage Visions Limited in Nigeria noted that the exhibition would provide a unique opportunity to explore the vast trade potential of Africa’s largest market.
He said the exhibition would not only create and develop goods and services in both countries but would also help to stimulate relationships in the sub-region.
