Low interest loans for govt workers
SOCIETE Generale Ghana (SG Ghana) has launched a new promo to provide loans at low annual interest rates for customers and non-customers on the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) payroll.

Dubbed: ‘Ya Te So Biom’ Loans Promo, the offer runs up till the first week of June to provide customers with the opportunity to have a memorable Easter and Eid-ul Fitr celebrations.
The Bank in 2023 launched the very successful “Yateso” Loan promo which provided customers and non–customers of the bank with highly discounted loans.
Motivation
The General Manager for Retail Business for the bank, Obed Hoyah, said the new campaign was offering customers with even lower interest rates as compared to 2023.
Speaking on the bank’s motivation behind the promo, he said the offer aimed to ensure that both customers and non-customers were provided with very low interest loans to enable them to realise their goals and aspirations for this year.
He said it was to help individuals transform their lives with readily accessible funds which was key for people looking to make improvements in their homes, education, businesses and other important projects.
Lowest interest
The Head of Marketing, Communication and Quality at SG Ghana, Eli Muzzu, added that the bank understood that the country was in trying times, hence its resolve to continue to deliver value to its customers, especially by providing them with arguably the lowest interest on personal loans in the country.
He said the timing of the promo was very strategic as it offered customers the unique opportunity to have a memorable Easter and Eid-ul Fitr celebrations.
