This donation aims to bolster BCI Ghana's initiatives in raising awareness about breast cancer across the country.

The BE Health program, a flagship corporate social responsibility endeavor of Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, focuses on supporting healthcare professionals through oncology training, providing breast health education, conducting clinical screenings, offering counseling services, facilitating research, and ensuring access to treatments for breast cancer patients.

Since its inception in 2023, BE Health has gained significant traction, with Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra actively encouraging its guests to contribute to the cause. Visitors have the option to donate GHS 15 with every night's stay or with the purchase of the specially crafted 'BE Health Elixir' cocktail.

The success of BE Health was recently recognized at the 2023 Hospitality Awards in France, where it received the Best Charity Initiative award under the Hospitality for a Charity category. This accolade highlights the hotel's dedication to making a positive impact on the community and supporting critical healthcare initiatives.

At the inaugural 'Inspiring Women at Kempinski' (IWK) summit held on International Women's Day, General Manager Hanno Barkhoff and the hotel management team presented the donation to BCI Ghana. Barkhoff expressed pride in the partnership with Breast Care International, emphasizing the significant progress made since the program's inception.

Dr. Beatrice Wiafe Addai, President of BCI Ghana, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the hotel's generous contribution, noting that it is the largest donation received from a single institution. She underscored the importance of raising awareness about breast cancer and encouraged women to prioritize their health by seeking medical attention if they notice any changes in their breasts.

In recognition of its unwavering commitment to promoting breast cancer awareness, Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra received a citation of honor from BCI Ghana. This acknowledgment further solidifies the hotel's dedication to supporting vital healthcare initiatives and making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by breast cancer.
