ADB Bank creates awareness through business health walk

Staff and customers of ADB Bank last Saturday embarked on a six-kilometre business health walk from the Ayi Mensah Toll booth to the Peduase Lodge.

The walk, which was aimed at creating awareness of the bank and helping the staff to keep fit started around 7:00 am after a brief aerobics and ended around 8:30 am.

It saw the participants from all departments of the bank sharing the bank’s flyers and socialising among themselves.

After the one hour, 30 minutes walk, the staff were taken through aerobics session and health screening.

Speaking after the walk, the Deputy Managing Director of the ADB Bank, Mr Alhassan Yakubu, expressed his gratitude to the staff for their presence and active participation.

He said the Ayi Mensah to Peduase walk had over the years been an assembling ground for thousands of people from all walks of life and was, therefore, a strategic location to assemble and create top of the mind awareness of the bank and also encourage new and existing customers to continue doing business with the bank.

“As a bank that places value on the health of our staff, today’s exercise is the beginning of more to come. Possibly, we will make it a quarterly event so that staff can exercise to stay healthy and give off their best,” he explained.

Remain committed

Mr Yakubu said the bank remained committed in serving its customers better and so had developed products and services tailored to suit their dynamic trends.

“At ADB, we believe in team work as that remains one of our core values,” he said.
