GCB’s G-Money wins Most Promising Mobile Money Brand

GCB Bank PLC has been adjudged the Premium Ghanaian-owned Bank of the year 2021 at the sixth Global Business Quality Awards, organized by Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana.

A subsidiary of GCB, G-Money was also adjudged the Most Promising Mobile Money Brand of the Year for 2021.

According to Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, the awards ceremony was geared towards harnessing the power of entrepreneurship, business synergies, and the creation of sustainable environment for Ghanaian businesses.

Head of the Corporate Affairs at GCB Bank PLC, Emmanuel Kojo Kwarteng told Graphic Online’s Kwame Larweh that the award was a morale booster to ensure all platforms of the bank were well utilised.

When the staff who received the award on behalf of the bank, later handed it over to the executive management, the Managing Director of GCB, Mr. Kofi Adomakoh commended them for their hard work in making such a feat possible.

“We must remain resolute and consistent in our dominance agenda in order to realize the benefits of revenue growth and profitability we hope to achieve in the shortest possible time,” he said.
