Finance Minister congratulates 2021 CIMG marketing practitioner
The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, has congratulated Hollard’s Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo for emerging winner of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana's (CIMG) Marketing Practitioner of the Year, 2021.
He said the marketing practitioner of the year award was so dear to him because he won it some 25 years ago.

“It just reminded me of how I started in Ghana about 30 years ago when I came back from Wall Street. And, there was nothing like a capital market nor money market and so, the whole idea of starting an investment bank was something weird to everyone,” the minister said that at a forum by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) in Accra.

In a related press release issued in Accra, Hollard Ghana said: “Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, is the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana's (CIMG) Marketing Practitioner of the Year, 2021.”
The release said Ms Ofori-Dwumfuo was honoured at the just-ended 33rd Annual National Marketing Performance Awards ceremony in Accra.
Ms Ofori-Dwumfuo is the Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at the insurance firm.
The theme
This year's event was on the theme: "Creative Marketing and Innovation in a Volatile Global Economy".
CIMG recognised Cynthia for leading Hollard Ghana's innovative brand-building efforts.
In addition, they cited her for excellence in marketing insights, people, corporate and reputation management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and sound marketing strategies.
According to the institute, this set Cynthia and Hollard apart as corporate achievers for 2021.

Ms Ofori-Dwumfuo in the press release expressed gratitude to the Governing Council of CIMG for the honour done to her.

The marketing and corporate affairs head in the release said she was proud of her CIMG achievement and dedicated the win to its customers, partners and stakeholders for being receptive audiences.
