The awards included Best Bank in Mobile Financial Services and Best Bank Investment in ICT Infrastructure. The bank’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), Mr Tunji Alabi, added to the laurels when he was crowned the Chief Information Officer of the Year.

The bank picked the awards after putting its weight against equally big banks to receive the accolades in each category.

Mr Tunji Alabi expressed excitement, saying: “It feels great to come out as number one in such competitive categories in the Telecom Awards.  As an indigenous bank, we work hard to stay on top in all aspects of banking.”

Mr Alabi added, “These three awards testify to our hard work and commitment to banking and finance in Ghana. These are our very first awards in 2015 and we look forward to even more laurels before the year is done.”

The Fidelity Bank CIO explained that with the bank’s integration with ProCredit, they were innovating better ways to serve customers to give them the best banking experience and consequently dedicated the awards to staff members and customers of the bank.
