ETI opens project in Accra

The Entrepreneurship Training Institute (ETI) in collaboration with Youth Challenge International Ghana, an NGO, has started a  leadership project  in Accra.

The project, which was founded by the Master of Business Administration (MBA) students from  Richard Ivey School of Business, is a student-driven overseas economic development programme aimed at enabling high potential entrepreneurs to envision, launch and scale new ventures in the frontier markets.

The Chairman of the Council  of  ETI,  Mr Obed Dankwa, who opened  the project  said, Ghana played a key role in African leadership, adding that the project would help young people to improve their skills.  He said  Ghana's economy was expanding rapidly and therefore there was the need to continue to empower  entrepreneurs to further its expansion.

The Country Manager of Youth Challenge International Ghana, Nii Doodo Dodoo, said his NGO would continue to collaborate with LEADER project and the Entrepreneurship Training Institute to build communities and drive innovation  by providing professional and leadership skills to young people in the country.

He said each participant of the Entrepreneurship Training Institute, would be assisted to develop a strong business idea and network to support each other future. 

Ms Kaleigh Killoran, Executive Director of Leadership project, said that each year the organisation sent a team of passionate MBA students across the world to teach business decision-making and entrepreneurial skills.
