Elcafetelero Ghana donates GH₵50,000 to Obama Farms
Elecafetelero Ghana Limited, dealers in livestock, has provided financial support of GH₵50, 000 to Obama Farms, a fast-growing poultry farm in Accra as part of the company’s effort to assist the youth in farming.

According to the Managing Director of the company, Alhaji Yussif Amadu the financial package is a profit sharing venture which the company does occasionally.
“It is a profit sharing venture by which we provide part of the amount invested into the farms over a period and both parties would come together to share the profits after the products were sold,” he explained.
He said, youth in Nima who are poultry and cattle rearers access their facility to support their activities but sometimes the huge interest rates become unbearable.
“We have then decided to rather partner with them to grow their poultry which is usually sold during the ‘Sallah’ period,” he stated.
He added that, his outfit will provide cheap funding to support the young people especially those venturing into farming in order to get the youth engaged in business.
“So far we have supported about five individuals but Obama has improved and has the potential of venturing into large scale poultry farming, we then decided to engage them in a partnership,” he stated.
Owner of Obama Farms, Yakubu Iddrisu expressed gratitude to Elecafetelero for the support adding that it has really helped in the growth of his business.
