The E4Impact Foundation has partnered the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan in Italy, to launch the Growth for SMEs Programme (GSP),
a six-month executive initiative designed to help established Ghanaian entrepreneurs, chief executive officers and general managers scale their businesses with structure, strategy and resilience.
The programme, hosted at the E4Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA),was positioned to bridge critical structural gaps that often prevented promising Ghanaian enterprises from reaching their full potential.
The GSP offer participants a blend of practical training, mentorship and global exposure.
Its core components included three in-person bootcamps featuring strategic execution workshops at the UPSA; four mentoring sprints and one-on-one advisory sessions with tailored guidance from African and international industry leaders.
It will also feature B2B matchmaking through integration into E4Impact's digital and blockchain trade platforms and global exposure through business missions to Italy and Kenya.

E4Impact Foundation has been active in Africa since 2010, delivering entrepreneurship training across 20 African countries. The foundation says it has trained more than 12,000 African entrepreneurs and collaborates with international institutions, including the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), to promote sustainable economic development through entrepreneurship education.
The foundation's model emphasises "impact entrepreneurship" rather than conventional job-seeker training, focusing on combining capacity building with business acceleration.
The E4Impact Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre at the UPSA was established to provide practical, hands-on training for students and entrepreneurs.
At the launch,the Vice-Chancellor of the UPSA, Professor John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, said the centre would equip participants with the tools and resources to turn ideas into viable business ventures.
For his part, Italy's Ambassador to Ghana, Laura Ranalli, also highlighted the value of such partnerships, saying they go beyond infrastructure to open new opportunities for young Ghanaians, equipping them with 21st-century skills needed in a rapidly changing global economy.
